Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix (any flavor)
  • ingredients required for cake mix (eggs, oil, water)
  • ½ cup frosting
  • 12 oz candy melts or almond bark
  • 24 lollipop sticks

Instructions
 

  • Bake the cake according to package instructions, then let it cool completely.
  • Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  • Add frosting gradually and mix until the texture holds together when pressed.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  • Insert lollipop sticks into each ball, then chill or freeze until firm.
  • Melt the candy coating until smooth. Dip each cake pop, tap off excess, and let set.

Notes

Use only enough frosting to bind the cake mixture. Chill cake balls before dipping to prevent falling apart. Thin candy melts with a little oil if needed.
