These Pineapple BBQ Pork Skewers are sweet, smoky, juicy, and ready in about 40 minutes. Tender pork, fresh pineapple, red onion, and bell pepper cook on the grill with a simple BBQ marinade.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • Combine the pork, pineapple, red onion, and green bell pepper in a large bowl.
  • Whisk together the BBQ sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the pork, pineapple, and vegetables. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
  • Thread the pork, pineapple, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers, alternating ingredients.
  • Grill for 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.
  • Brush with extra BBQ sauce during the final minutes of cooking if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling. Cut all ingredients into similar-sized pieces for even cooking. Cooking time may vary depending on grill temperature. Zucchini, cherry tomatoes, or other grilling vegetables can replace the peppers or onion.
