This Chocolate Smoothie is thick, creamy, and ready in 5 minutes. It tastes like a chocolate milkshake but works perfectly for breakfast or a quick snack.
2tbspunsweetened cocoa powder or chocolate protein powder
1pinchsalt
2tbsppeanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, or tahini, optional
to tastesugar or sweetener of choice
Instructions
Add the yogurt, milk, cocoa powder or protein powder, salt, optional nut butter, and sweetener to a blender.
Blend until the smoothie looks completely smooth and creamy.
Taste and add more sweetener if needed. Then serve immediately.
Notes
No banana is needed. Do not add ice because it can weaken the chocolate flavor. For a thicker smoothie, freeze the milk in ice cube trays before blending.
