Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana, preferably frozen
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder, optional
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa or cacao powder, optional

Instructions
 

  • Add the banana, frozen cherries, spinach, almond butter, vanilla extract, almond extract, and almond milk to a high-speed blender.
  • Blend on low speed first, then increase to high speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Add extra milk if needed to reach your desired consistency, then serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen fruit instead of ice for the creamiest texture. Add more milk if the smoothie is too thick. Peanut butter can replace almond butter.
